Redesigning with Purpose and Intention

Over the fall of 2024, I worked as a frontend developer at D&D Motorsystems, a small motor manufacturing company located in Syracuse, NY. I was tasked with the design and development of a complete refresh of the company's website. I designed with Figma, and developed with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP. Everything was built and backed with google analytics, surveys, and heatmaps, with every part of the website being optimized for SEO.

What I Learned

D&D Motor Systems was my first co-op experience, and I am both grateful and proud of the work I was able to accomplish. Working at a small company forced me to wear many hats, from design to development. Furthermore, working cross-functionally with both business and engineering teams taught me the importance of communication and collaboration.
